Thermal oxidation systems utilize heat to convert organic compounds to CO2 and H20. Depending on flow rates and organic concentrations, these solutions are often the lowest overall cost when viewed over the long term. With heating of the gas stream making up the majority of the operating cost, FEC offers two types of systems to minimize that expense.
The Direct Fired Oxidizers have no heat recovery and are for lower flow, high concentration applications. The high concentration of organics supplements the fuel requirements. For low concentration applications, we offer a Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer which incorporates heat recovery to minimize fuel consumption.
Our systems incorporate PLC based controls to provide automation, alarming, and historical trending. Our skid mounted modular designs offer compact footprints and ease of installation.
